The egg Revolving Miniatures also known as Egg of Rock crystal, is made of rock crystal, gold, an emerald of the siberian of a cabochon, diamonds, transparent emerald-green, opaque white, orange and dark blue enamel. Two half of rock crystal are fastened by a narrow strip of gold decorated with diamonds, At top there is a 27-KARAT emerald, possibly biggest jewel used in Imperial Easter eggs. Egg is strengthened on a round pedestal of rock crystal. And has the monogram of the Queen as Princess Alex-Darmstadt before her marriage, and as Alexandra Feodorovna, Tsarina of Russia, 12 miniatures, Are created in gold and rotate round the gold cylinder, which passes vertically through the center of egg.
